HTC Desire Z Deals
We first caught drift of the HTC Desire Z a few months back when a blurry image of the handset leaked onto the web. At long last there was going to be a decent Android handset with a full QWERTY keyboard. As a Blackberry user I have always been put off by touch screens and prefer a solid hardware QWERTY keyboard. The HTC Desire Z certainly ticks that box!
After a lot of anticipation, HTC finally made the Desire Z official at a press conference in London last week.
So what have HTC been up to with the Desire Z? Let’s take a closer look
HTC Desire Z Deals Review
QWERTY Keyboard
One of the biggest highlights of the handset for me personally is the inclusion of a full QWERTY keyboard! Not only does it present you with a full set of keys, but you also get user assigned keys to launch your favorite applications easily as well as a range of system wide shortcuts.
Slim Design
Most handsets that include a full keyboard tend to be bulky and heavy. This isn’t the case with the HTC Desire Z as they have managed to tuck the keyboard behind the screen without adding any bulk to the handset.
5 Megapixel Camera
The Desire Z also includes a rich 5 megapixel camera with LED flash. It’s similar to the camera seen on the original HTC Desire and is more than capable of capturing vibrant colorful images.
HD Video Recording
HTC have also added 720P HD video recording capabilities to the Desire Z. Typically phones have always been poor at video recording but all this has changed with the Desire Z. You’ll be able to capture breathtaking videos with ease.
Android 2.2
The latest version of Google’s Android operating system is also present. Android 2.2 includes a wide range of new features and functionality itching to be explored.
HTC Sense
The all new HTC Sense web service is quite remarkable. For the first time you will have complete control over your handset from the comfort of your own computer.
You can backup all of your important data, or delete it all from the handset remotely if you ever lose it. If your phone gets stolen, then no problem! You can remotely track its location from the HTC Sense website!
HTC Fast Boot
One of the biggest drawbacks with smart phones is they take a long time to turn on. HTC’s new fast boot technology takes care of this and gets the phone started in rapid time.
